CCS Gains Supportive Moves, Signals From Trump Admin
The Houston CCS Alliance was quoted in coverage on CCS across the country:
“EPA Regional Administrator Scott Mason said Texas regulators ‘demonstrated the ability to protect Texas’s drinking water while overseeing a variety of drilling and injection activity … through their administration of other underground injection control programs.’ Scott Castleman of the Houston CCS Alliance said he was pleased with the step, telling Energy Intelligence in a statement that CCS projects ‘will create new markets for Texas industry to supply lower carbon products that keep them competitive in the global market,’ among other benefits.”
